I'm a writer and editor with experience in scientific copyediting, technical writing, and journalism. I'm trying to sell some fiction.
For fun! I like to play around with things, and my own website is the best place to fiddle. It gives me a spot to stick the notes I take while researching settings, so I don't lose them and to help out others who might find them useful.
It's also a good place to log books I've read and recipes I've tried.
A few novels set in a fantasy world based on Colonial America (in the same sense that many fantasies are based on Medieval Europe), and some fantasy short stories in that world and other worlds.
Feel free to use my Excel spreadsheet for tracking progress. It contains two worksheets, one for tracking wordcount, and one for tracking time spent writing (useful for revising and editing progress).
rec.arts.sf.composition is an active usenet group for writers of speculative fiction.
